Polanica Zdrój is one of the most beautiful pre-war health resorts in Poland. Such an interesting place, and still unknown! Located in the Stołowe Mountains, it is famous for its healing waters, fresh air and views that will be remembered for years.
Polanica-Zdrój attracts people mainly with the peace and quiet of the spa town and the beauty of the Kłodzko Valley nature.
In the center of Polanica there is a Spa Park entered in the register of monuments, and our Villa Adele is located just 5 – 10 minutes walk away. In the immediate vicinity you will also find grocery stores, cafes, a pharmacy, and restaurants.
Teatr Zdrojowy (Spa Theater)
Especially close to our Villa because of the author of the building – Otto Büttner, who also built our Adele! This historic building currently houses the Polanica Culture and Promotion Center. In addition to exhibitions, concerts, performances and various fairs, the Teatr Zdrojowy tempts with cyclical events. Only 10 minutes walk from Adele!
Pijalnia Wód Mineralnych Wielka Pieniawa (Mineral Water Pump Room)
Underground mineral water flows straight from the heart of the Stołowe Mountains, giving rise to the Polanica springs famous for its healing and taste qualities. Wielka Pieniawa water contains natural carbon dioxide and is available for consumption on the spot in the pump room in Polanica-Zdrój or in bottled form in the local shops. Only 10 minutes on foot from our Villa!
Piekielna Dolina (Hell’s Valley)
The valley covers a small area of 1.1 km², most of which is located in the Bystrzyckie and Orlickie Mountains Protected Landscape Area, and within the European Natura 2000 Network it is a special area of habitat protection. There are as many as 7 types of habitats here, incl. acid beech forest, riparian forests and riverside thickets of willow, mountain and lowland riverside and fringe herbs. Only a 20-minute walk from our Villa!
Stołowe Mountains National Park
The unique sculpture, enriched with a large accumulation of various forms of sandstone erosion in the form of deep crevices, labyrinths and rock blocks, or individual rocks with unusual shapes, makes the Stołowe Mountains unique in Poland. This wonderful park is only 5.8 km away and Villa Adele is a 9-minute drive away.
